Ten years

Walking the hallway on the way to Ninth grade Biology. That's what i was doing when i heard about The Twin Towers falling Ten Years ago today. Sadly,Things have been plastered all over facebook, good and badbut this is the one I liked.
Times of impact 8:46am and 9:02am Time the burning towers stood: 56 minutes and 102 minutes. Time they took to fall: 12 seconds. 2819 dead from 115 different nations. 343 Fireman/ paramedics, 23 NYPD, 37 Port Authority officers. A third plane crashed into the Pentagon. When passengers attempted to take control of the fourth plane, Flt 93, it crashed into a Pennsylvana field preventing it from reaching D.C.
It's crazy to think that so much has happened since that day. It's incredibly hard to gather thoughts and emotions.

Blue Skies, Sunshine, and Crunchy Brown Grass.

This summer in Texas has been crazy! One would think that with a Crazy year for weather last year, this year would be better. HA! Only in A Sweltering Texas Summer can you find grass that crunches so horribly it sounds like Pop Rocks but feels like needles on bare feet. I am not complaining, only stating what is so obvious to us Texans but the Notherners( some of my family in Ohio) have no idea about. The sun is always shining and lakes, rivers and ponds are all down; if not gone. It's just another day in Texas. That's why there are wonderful things, like Ice, popsicles, Sweet Tea and Watermelon. A Random Thunderstorm came in last week, it was gone in te blink of an eye and did not even rain enough to make the dust settle. I know, most of the time I say, Texas and The South are not what u see in western movies, this year, the weather is. Just have not seen a tumbleweed yet. In the north you can see the seasons change. Come down south in the mid to late summer, you will see the seadon change from thriving; to trees falling because there isn't any water. So I am going in the AC now it's crazy HOT!

This weekend was great!

ok so on friday everything kinda went crazy and outta sorts but then friday night Sam and I agreed that we were going to go to Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo on Saturday night. It was awesome to just get away for a little while. I miss being able to just go and goof off like an adult and not have to worry, for one night. Date night was awesome! I have never had anyone go out of their way to make everything perfect like he did. Rodeo, Carnival Rides, Cody Johnson Band Concert and Funnel Cake. It's truly amazing how perfect it was. Relaxed and had a great time. I loved the fact that we were there making each other smile and just BE. No homework, work, or cares in the world. pictures to follow. :)

100 good things in one otherwise negative day.

There are more things in life that bring us down then raise up. The news, TV  shows, radio, websites, and people being pesimistic. Today I am on a mission to find 100 things that make my day better. So I started at the bible. This is what I came to;“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.” – Matthew 7:7-8. It's really amazing how when you start the day looking for the good in everything it catches on so quickly. Then I got on Google and found a multitude of quotes to lift my spirits. "Continuous effort--not strength or intelligence--is the key to unlocking our potential." --Winston Churchill. I just hope that this month gets better. God will send me the way it will be for the worse or better. I am attempting to make a tremendous effort and I feel as though I am failing at every turn. Yet I push on knowing that with God and a will there is a way. So if you are having a bad day, week, month, year, just know that God is there with you. Try to find the good in everything, it's easier than it seems.

the worst day of 2011

So I studied all weekend to retake the compass test to see if I could skip my math class.well, I missed it by like a few questions. I have taken this class five times. I am horrible at and  hate  this math class. Well after my mom finally calming  me down I get on fb. Not a good idea. Out of all the days in the entire year people decided to start untrue rumors and just cause unnecessary drama because they are that  immature . I just wanna climb under a rock and hide for the rest of the day. My allergies and crap is horrible.

The best spring day!!!

So there are not many days in my life that I can truely say were AMAZING! Today has MOST DEFINATELY been an exception! I woke up this morning with enough time to take a shower and get ready perfectly from head to toe, fill up my car with gas, get breakfast and leasurely make my way to school. I rode in my pretty red car with the top down all the way to the Woodlands to go to class. Right now school is only halfway over and I am excited to go to the mall afterwards to get some summer clothes. Then I get to drive back to Huntsville to go on a picnic. Luckily my allergies are not HORRIBLE this spring so far, so I feel like this is the first summer I have truely had a chance to enjoy. There is definately something about this spring time that just energizes me. I love it !!!! I can't wait to see what this summer has in store for me! God has definately opened a new, completely better chapter in my life and I will say, I am enjoying every second!
